About Me

My name is Rachael and I am the face behind IAM Raw Crystal Candles.

At the age of 50, I tried Yoga for the first time and instantly I was hooked. It was a space where I felt completely accepted just the way I was, with no pressure to look a certain way or be a certain shape or size. I was enough just as IAM. After 6 months, I decided to pursue a 250hr Yoga Teacher Training with Nikki Ralston at The Ralston Method to deepen my knowledge of this beautiful practice.

During the training, I started incorporating meditation into my daily routine.  Meditation provided a space to connect with my higher self and inner knowing, enabling my conscious mind to take a back seat and slow down, allowing creativity and inspiration to flow freely.  It was during this time that I received visual imagery and creative insight to create a collection of candles with purpose and meaning aimed at restoring balance to the chakras.  The crystals, essential oils, and affirmations would align with each corresponding chakra to promote chakra healing and emotional and spiritual wellbeing. This marked the beginning of IAM Raw Crystal Candles and the Chakra Series. 

Created with intention: Our name, IAM Raw Crystal Candles, reflects our mission: Life can be challenging, and we want to remind people of their greatness. The affirmations are designed to encourage, empower, and uplift individuals.

We work with raw crystals for their holistic and metaphysical properties. Each crystal emits a specific frequency and vibration, promoting wellbeing and balance on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels. They help calm and soothe, enhance mental clarity, and reduce stress and anxiety. When used intentionally, crystals can be powerful tools for mindfulness and self-care.

The oils in our candles are chosen for their beautiful aroma and for the feelings they invoke.
