My name is Rachael and I am the face behind IAM Raw Crystal Candles.
At the age of 50, I tried Yoga for the first time and instantly I was hooked. It was a space where I felt completely accepted just the way I was, with no pressure to look a certain way or be a certain shape or size. I was enough just as I was. After 6 months, I decided to pursue a 250hr Yoga Teacher Training with Nikki Ralston at The Ralston Method to deepen my knowledge of this beautiful practice.
During the training, I started incorporating meditation into my daily routine. Meditation provided a space to connect with my higher self and inner knowing, enabling my conscious mind to take a back seat and slow down, allowing creativity and inspiration to flow freely. It was during this time that I received visual imagery and creative insight to create a collection of candles with purpose and meaning aimed at restoring balance to the chakras. The crystals, essential oils, and affirmations would align with each corresponding chakra to promote chakra healing and emotional and spiritual wellbeing. This marked the beginning of IAM Raw Crystal Candles and the Chakra Series.
