During her Bachelor of Textile Design, Gina, the designer behind Frankalbie, found a love for illustration and surface pattern design, and so Frankalbie was created.
All designs start on paper and consist of hand-made marks, drawings, and water colours. The collections are limited and made in small batch runs and are designed to produce minimal waste; anything leftover is always repurposed. Everything is designed and assembled right here in New Zealand.
